Issue seven of Camping With Your 4WD hit the shelves yesterday. In it are a couple of articles I wrote outlining a few weekend getaways for 4WD-inclined travelers from Hobart and Darwin. A few more cameos from Lisa’s parents in the Hobart article, camping along the Lyell Highway and also on Bruny Island.

Issue six of Camping With Your 4WD has been out for a few weeks, but with our trip to Lizard Island and then time in Bedourie we haven’t been near too many newsagents. This article details our trip through Northeastern Tasmania with Lisa’s parents during February. A few cameo shots of Carol and Greg should be a good souvenir of their trip for them…

We came across our latest addition to the magazine shelves today with an article on our travels through Coffin Bay and Lincoln National Parks in the southern Eyre Peninsula just before Christmas last year. The article is in Australian 4WD Action issue 150 for anyone wanting to take a look for themselves!

Camping With Your 4WD issue five hit the shelves today, in it is the second article of our two part piece on Western Australia’s Kimberley region. Also are a couple of short articles I did for the editor on a selection of ‘Escape The Winter Blues’ destinations. Of our travels are single page briefs of Kakadu National Park, Mitchell Falls and Karijini National Park.

An article detailing our adventures in the northern Kimberley around the Mitchell Plateau and Mitchell Falls hit the shelves earlier this week. We stumbled across it in a shopping mall in Brisbane, it’s in Australian 4WD Action issue number 148.

In the newsagent the other day we came across the first of a two part article on Western Australia’s Kimberley region we have in Camping With Your 4WD. The article pictured here tracked our travels across the Gibb River Road and up to the isolated Aboriginal settlement of Kalumburu. Fun to see a big close-up of Lisa tackling Devonshire tea at Ellenbrae Station!

We noticed another one of our articles on the shelves yesterday morning, this one in Australian 4WD Action issue 145. I hadn’t seen the photos above of Edith Falls in the flesh, looks great all blown up in hard copy. A couple of cameos from my cousins Margot and Sophie in this article, they met us in Litchfield National Park (the subject of the article) for a night of camping way back in July.

We stopped off at the bakery in Bicheno yesterday morning to find the next article of ours on the shelves in the latest edition of Camping With Your 4WD. The spread pictured here chronicles our trip along the Bullita Stock Route through the Northern Territory’s Gregory National Park.

This one documents our trip to Purnululu National Park and the Bungle Bungle Range when we were up north last July. The next article comes out in a few weeks in issue 145, I think that one focuses on Litchfield National Park in the Northern Territory…

I’ve been working with a few of the folks at Express Publications over the last few months, they publish an array of 4WD-centric magazines and have been kind enough to publish a few articles cataloguing our trip around Australia. The first of the articles from our travels through the Top End will be on the shelves in a few weeks, an advance copy was waiting for us at my Dad’s when we arrived into Adelaide a few days ago. Awesome to see it in the flesh, there’s a few months lag between when I submit the articles and when they hit the shelves. Here’s a few photos from our first article on Kakadu…
